East Coast Race 2015

The races started at 1900 on 12th June 2015 at the Branklet Buoy in the River Crouch. After a beat down the river and out into the swin the wind died and yachts took most of the night to reach the North Shipwash buoy. The wind then filled in SW 18/20 gusting up to 30knots so a very quick trip for all yachts across to the Goote Bank buoy. Here they had to turn into the wind for a beat to Oostende. First Yacht to Finish was Assarain IV in 20 hours and 13 minutes, followed by Andrasta in 21 hours 4 minutes. Last to finish was Woozle Hunter in 25 hours 19 minutes.
