The Race started at 0700 from West Mersea in light winds 7/8 knots NNE, forecast was that is was going lighter during the day and finally no wind by the evening. The forecast was little out however as a reasonable 12/15 knots all day saw the first Yacht, Oystercatcger XXX, finish at 4.30pm and the last yacht, Woozle Hunter, in by 8.15pm. Everyone had a marvellous day's sailing and finished in time for dinner before the party.
