AGM cancelled until the new year

We have decided to put our AGM on hold until the new year. Normally this time of year we are busy arranging a programme for 2021 for approval at the AGM. For now we will move our AGM to either January or February 2021, hopefully by then we will have the latest distancing guidelines so a programme can be agreed.

We are also very much waiting for RORC to take the lead with their own Offshore programme and their intentions for the Fastnet and our two qualifier races.

As Chairman, I realise that we could consider a two handed and a limited crew number series (as per the latest guidelines) but I am finding that our own East Coast member clubs are organising these type of events already and no way would I want to interfere with their own plans and tempt people away to race EAORA whilst it is already a struggle for the clubs just to remain in existence during these unprecedented times.

Ideally we would like a proper Offshore series once the rules allows us to. We will keep you posted.
